Code Enforcement Management
|
GeoPlan provides a full suite of applications for managing
municipal operations. This page describes the Code Enforcement module. Use GeoPlan's code enforcement module to log code violation
complaints and all actions pertaining to the case, such as the initial and
subsequent inspections, owner notifications, relevant code sections,
violation notices and citation information. GeoPlan's document management
function can be used to scan correspondence, notices, or photographs and link
them to the current violation case record.
Once the basic data is stored in your GeoPlan database, the
process of generating letters or other formal notices is streamlined.
Templates for your common code enforcement correspondence can be designed and
stored in GeoPlan's report library. Simply enter case details into GeoPlan, and
then click on the desired report name. Detailed case histories and
departmental monthly summary reports can be generated just as quickly.
Enter frequently-referenced sections of code into the Codes
page. You can include a full and abbreviated description. The information in
the Codes page is used to populate convenient drop-down menus when entering
specific violation data.
The Actions page is used to track all actions on a
particular code enforcement case. Action types are defined by you at GeoPlan
setup, so you can capture as much detail as you require - from initial
complaints and field inspections through notifications and final citations to
help you maintain comprehensive case histories.
Code Enforcement Cases are directly accessible from the parcel
record in the Property Management module. A single click displays the code
enforcement history for a specific property while viewing the parcel record.
GeoPlan eliminates duplicate data entry. Data from the parcel record
automatically populates associated fields in the Code Enforcement case
record. |
