GeoPlan provides a full suite of applications for managing municipal operations. This page describes the Subdivision Management module. GeoPlan's Subdivision module provides a convenient way to organize data specific to recorded subdivisions in your municipality. Subdivision Facts at Your Fingertips The General page is used to record the subdivision numeric identifier, the subdivision name, the date the subdivision was recorded, the Developers name, Surveyors name, the number of lots, and the size (area) of the plan. In addition, a free-form memo field is provided to record additional details such as special conditions on the plan or any other items of interest regarding the subdivision. Lots Comprise the Subdivision The Lots page presents data pertaining to individual lots comprising the subdivision. The Tax ID or parcel number, House number, Street name, Lot number, Lot size, and Owner name are displayed for each lot. Track Submittals and Reviews The Actions page is used to track all actions related to subdivision submittals, reviews, and approvals. Action types can be predefined for customized drop-down menus in the Actions page. Integrated Document Management As in all GeoPlan modules, hard-copy documents, such as the subdivision plat, can be scanned and linked to the current subdivision record. Consider the advantage of having desktop access to as-built drawings or site plans. GeoPlan assigns and manages the link that makes the scanned image a virtual extension of the subdivision record. So you won't have to spend time tracking down the physical plan file, or searching the network for an image file. Multiple image files can be linked to each record. Thumbnail views make it easy to choose the image you need. And you have full control to pan and zoom the image view and print a hard copy, plus much more with GeoPlan's integrated document management. |
![]() Details about individual subdivisions can be maintained, including specific conditions required for plan approval. ![]() The Lots page provides a quick look at ownership and address data for each lot in the subdivision.
While viewing a subdivision record, a single click lets you view any scanned documents that are associated with it, or scan a new document to make part of the record.
